Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the alphaai website, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

This is a general draft template provided for informational structure only. It does not constitute legal advice and has not been reviewed by legal counsel for any specific jurisdiction. alphaai should have this document reviewed by a qualified professional before publication.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the alphaai Service, creating an account, or requesting access, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of the service

alphaai provides AI-driven data analysis and risk oversight tools intended to help professionals monitor and evaluate diversified income streams. The Service is provided for informational and analytical purposes only. Outputs, scores, alerts, or summaries generated by the Service are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Access and licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, alphaai grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business or professional purposes. This licence does not include any right to resell, sublicense, copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service, its underlying software, or its documentation, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) upload or transmit data you are not authorised to share; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' data; (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (e) use automated means to scrape or extract data beyond what is provided through supported interfaces; or (f) use the Service to build a competing product.

6. Subscription, fees, and payment

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription or approved access. Where applicable, fees, billing cycles, and payment terms will be communicated at the time of signup or in a separate order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. alphaai may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice. Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of access.

7. Customer data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant alphaai a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit Customer Data, including any third-party financial or personal information.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, interfaces, design, text, graphics, and underlying technology, is owned by alphaai or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence granted above, no rights are transferred to you. All trademarks, logos, and brand names associated with alphaai remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or reference third-party tools, data providers, or services that are not controlled by alphaai. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service, and your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. alphaai does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any analysis, alert, or output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, alphaai and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. alphaai's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to alphaai for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold alphaai harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

13. Suspension and termination

alphaai may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or for any other reasonable business reason. You may stop using the Service or close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to the service and terms

alphaai may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be indicated by updating the "last updated" date or through reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, subject to review and confirmation for your specific circumstances. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

16. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and alphaai regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on this subject. alphaai's failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

17. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be directed through the contact channels listed on our Contact page.
